Bethan Donnelly is a creative entrepreneur and arts and cultural strategist who believes creativity is essential infrastructure for a thriving future. She is dedicated to building systems and partnerships that empower artists and communities to imagine boldly and deliver impactful work.
She brings entrepreneurial energy, deep sector knowledge, and strategic clarity to the creative sector, translating vision into action and transforming ambitious ideas into lasting impact.
Before co-founding Vital Commons, Bethan was Director – Business & Development at Cement Fondu and has worked with artists to deliver major public art commissions, including the WestConnex and Sydney Football Stadium Art Programs.
Bethan holds a Master of Curating and Cultural Leadership from UNSW.

JOSEPHINE SKINNER

Josephine Skinner has over 15 years of experience in arts programming, commissioning new works and curating exhibitions and public programs. She has a particular interest in supporting early-career artists through the curation of affecting, interdisciplinary presentations that bridge local and global discourses and practices.
Since 2017, she has been co-Founder and Director – Artistic & Curatorial of contemporary art space Cement Fondu, which evolved to an itinerant model unbound by gallery walls in 2025. She has nurtured a welcoming and innovative art space, platforming the diversity of creativity and inviting critical reflection on our times.
Josephine holds a PhD in the field of contemporary art (UNSW) and Bachelor of Honours in Critical Fine Art Practice (UK).
